We believe that the use of Functional Training as the backbone of our training efforts will result in an improvement in our clients’ quality of life and performance. Avoiding fixed plane equipment, Functional Training allows us the opportunity to adjust movement patterns to reduce and eliminate injuries while delivering the most efficient workouts and programs found in the industry. We train our clients on their feet, moving in multiple directions, using natural human movement patterns.
Health, Fitness, Athletics. These have always been central themes in Pulse Fitness Owners’, Tim and Erin’s, lives. Members of several different commercialized “big box gyms” over the years, they noticed that anonymity and being unaccountable for sticking with a program led to large numbers of drop-outs. They rarely saw the same faces in the gym from one day to the next and were left feeling unsatisfied with the whole environment.
In 2008, Tim and Erin decided to change the fitness landscape in Scottsdale and drafted initial plans for Pulse Fitness. They wanted to create an environment that focused on community-based Personal Training, most notably, Functional Training. Avoiding fixed plane equipment, Functional Training allows the opportunity to fix movement patterns and reduce and eliminate injuries while delivering the most efficient workouts and programs found in the industry.
Established August 2009
Pulse Fitness has since become a pillar of the DC Ranch Community. True to their original concept, Pulse’s owners, staff and members not only work out together, but also participate in charity functions and organized member outings as a cohesive community team.
With their wide range of programs from short-term fitness challenges to boot camps, semi-private personal training, sports performance and recovery options in massage therapy, fascial stretch therapy and their Far Infrared Sauna, it is no wonder they were voted the #1 Training Facility in Scottsdale.
